ABC Bootcamp for Kindergarten!

Pioneer Academy's Kindergarten celebrated the end of their ABC Bootcamp on October 28th with a fun filled show for family, friends, and faculty. Each day over the last 9 weeks, Ms. Domm worked diligently with her students in an intensive alphabet program known as ABC Bootcamp. This included silly hats, bubble maps, songs, rhymes, and handwriting practice to instill the sights and sounds of the letters in the alphabet. As a final project, the students created and wore handmade vests filled with pictures that represented each letter of the alphabet. It was clear that their hard work paid off as they danced, sang, and recited a poem without any mistakes or fear at the show. The students proved that they had mastered the foundation of reading; the alphabet. They are looking forward to begin manipulating the letters and sounds into words in the next coming weeks.
