The fourth grade non-fiction reading unit is done!

The fourth grade wrapped up their non fiction reading unit by presenting research projects on natural disasters that included Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Tsunamis, and Hurricanes! Students were grouped together in research teams, and each group was given a natural disaster to research. Each group member researched their own subtopic (causes/effects, prevention and safety, how they are measured). Students spent several weeks reading texts, articles, watching videos and taking notes on their topic. Once their research was complete they presented their findings to the rest of the class and took on the role of teachers! They all did an amazing job!
