Pioneer Academy Montessori Pre K is a full day program for children ages 3-5. At Pioneer Montessori, your child will be given the opportunity to choose from all subject areas of Montessori including Practical Life, Sensorial Awareness, Math, Language, Science and Geography.
With our full-day Montessori program, your child will be provided the academic foundation and independence based on proven Montessori methodology and the excellence that Pioneer Academy has been providing families since 1999.
Pioneer Montessori offers an extended day program for parents that require before and after care for their child. After care is a great way to help your child build social skills and give them the ability to become independent and confident leaders of tomorrow.
During the extended day program, your child will have the opportunity to continue to build confidence in their skills and utilize the Montessori materials.
Before Care Hours: 7:30-8:15
After Care Hours: 4:00-5:45
Pioneer Pre-K Montessori students are guided by talented, experienced, and caring, Montessori certified teachers and teacher aides.
Our educators help children understand how to problem solve and make connections. They help children to create new ideas and establish a foundation for learning by focusing on the child’s natural curiosity and sense of order.
At Pioneer Montessori, materials are designed with the children in mind. These developmentally appropriate materials contribute to the growth and independence of all children in our program.
Our Montessori curriculum offers children five key areas of study. These areas are built on the Montessori foundation and encourages all children to love learning.
Our older children help to teach our younger children what they have learned, helping them to become mature and responsible leaders of their community. Our younger children look to these older children as role models, which helps to facilitate the socialization and growth of all Pioneer Montessori students.
The Montessori classroom operates on the principle of freedom within limits. Children are free to work at their own pace, alone, or with others. Children get to learn in a home-like classroom environment that allows them to feel safe and supported.
We encourage a balance of active, self-directed learning with small group collaboration and one-on-one teacher guided lessons.
