Elementary Trip to Liberty Science Center!

The students in 2nd and 3rd grade went to the Liberty Science Center on May 19th. The students were able to explore various exhibits through out the museum. We watched a movie called "Extreme Weather" where we learned about all different types of weather in the world. The students visited "Mythbusters", an exhibit where they were able test if you stay drier running or walking in the rain and can you pull a tablecloth off a fully set table? The students used scientific observations and their own curiosity to find the truth behind these beliefs. We ended the day by checking out the "Touch Tunnel." The students used their sense of touch to explore this pitch black 80 foot tunnel! It was a great day and everyone had fun!
