Volunteer Opportunities
Pioneers alumni volunteer program is designed to forge connections among and between the classes, the school, and across the alumni community. Whether you want to help with fundraising efforts, serve as a mentor, organize an event, and beyond, there are many ways to donate your time.
Pioneer Alumni can be the greatest asset in helping our students shape their future and achieve their goals. Our Alumni in top universities, top companies, and others with expertise in their respective fields can help students by giving them first-hand support, mentorship, and career opportunities.
Pioneer Connect
Pioneer Connect allows you to both re-connect with old classmates as well as enabling you to utilize the trusted Pioneer Academy environment to expand your professional network.
The Pioneer Alumni League provides a space for alumni to connect with current students informally and formally. Informally, alumni can inform students about job openings that fit their skills and interests or offer advice about what it's like to work in a particular field. Formally, alumni can help students develop relationships with other people already established in their areas of interest. These connections give students access to mentors who can offer advice on networking strategies or even offer direct sponsorship opportunities.
A strong network is a necessity for success in the modern world. This is true for businesses and individuals, but it's especially true for students. The Pioneer Alumni League helps students build their professional networks, which can be an invaluable resource as they move from college to their careers.
In addition to helping students build relationships within their fields of interest and expertise, the Pioneer Alumni League also helps them develop relationships with each other. As more alumni join the network and become active participants, they will be able to provide more resources for all members of the group—including new members who are looking for guidance on how best to improve their own professional lives by building strong networks as well as making connections with mentors within those networks.
Alumni Mentorship
Alumni mentoring is a crucial part of the success of our students. The skills they learn in our program are valuable in the workplace but can only sometimes be taught in our classrooms. Students need real-world examples of how to apply their knowledge, and that's where alumni mentoring comes in.
Our alumni have gone through the process, and they know what it's like to be a student at a specific college or working in a particular field. They can help students understand how the skills they've learned apply to the real world and help them connect with people who will hire them when they graduate. They also provide another point of reference for students after graduation—students who are new to an industry or city often feel isolated, and having an alumnus from their class as a mentor helps them feel less alone.
