Media Literacy Class paid a visit to CPJ (Committee for Protection Journalists)

On October 10 2018, Pioneer Academy Media Literacy class paid a visit to Committee for Protection Journalists (CPJ) in New York which is an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes press freedom worldwide and defend the right of journalists to report the news without fear of reprisal. The Pioneer Academy students asked questions to CPJ executives on trending topics that relate to press freedom issues in all over the world. The students evaluated the crucial relationship between freedom of press and democracy and how journalists in all over the world risk their lives providing accurate information and news for their people.
