Middle School Science and ELA Lesson: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Middle school teachers are excited to announce that sixth grade students will begin an interdisciplinary study centered around J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In Science class, students will be researching and learning about real-life fantastic beasts. In English class, students will be examining etymology as they work to uncover the hidden meaning behind root words. As a culmination of the interdisciplinary study, students will write creative stories in which their real-life fantastic beasts come to New York City. Stay tuned for updates as the project is underway!
