our students making a difference

Our students, Daryna Erdogan, Haneen Alatiyat, Ho Lee, and Yiling Tan were selected to volunteer at a United Nations event on the UN SDGs held at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. Three of the students are from the Model United Nations Club. They assisted the organizers, led by Mr. Mehmet Kilic, president of the New York-based Journalists and Writers Foundation in managing the high-level forums, and having the opportunity to see how NGOs work for global peace.A great experience for our seniors and juniors interested in global affairs and the work of the United Nations, guided by their advisor, Dr. Rahman.
