Paper Mill

On Friday, December 9th, Pioneer Academy's third and fourth graders attended a play called Frosty at the Papermill Playhouse. The play, which was based off of the famous song, 'Frosty the Snowman', was performed live on stage, not as a song, but rather as a story about a young orphan named Billy who discovers magic in a stolen hat. When he places the hat on a snowman's head, the snowman comes to life. Our students enjoyed watching the holiday classic, as they rambled on about it all the way back to school. On behalf of Pioneer Academy's Journalism Club, we would like to thank Ms. Dudas and Ms. Berrie for organizing this trip and giving our elementary school students an opportunity to delve a little deeper into theatre and the arts.
