Pioneer's Robotic's Club's First Place Win; Prepares for State Competition
The Pioneer Academy Robotics Club superseded all expectations on Sunday, December 4th by finishing first place in the Robotics Qualifiers at Columbia High School. Having only come in 20th place the week before, the Club's shocking first place win wasn't the last.The club went on to not only sweep the semi-finals, but win first place in the Finals as well."The games in the finals weren't easy, rather they were extremely difficult, but we were able to handle them and we won the finals with a 2-0 win thanks to our amazing robot and well-picked ally. This accomplishment means that we are going to the state championships to compete with robots all around New Jersey. It was something we didn't expect at first because of our past experiences, but we hoped for it, our hope and hard work didn't let us down which led us to the states to raise the name of our school as high as we can."-Muhammed Keskin
